Introduction

This course is designed for participants who have to use, change or fit abrasive wheels to grinding machines whether hand held or bench types. This course is held on customers premises.

Aims

To comply with current legislation. The Provision and use of work Equipment Regulations 1992.

Objectives

Understand the hazards when using, changing and handling Abrasive wheels. Describe the different types and their uses. Ensure only Safe Working Practices are used and understood. The Practical and theoretical tests will be conducted to the NPORS standard which Fully Complies with the current regulations.

Duration:
This can vary due to the trainees previous experience i.e Novice/Existing (3-5hours)
