Banksman/Slinger Training Course - Course RTW151

Aims:

Participants will be able to safely sling loads safely and efficiently.

Course Content:

Safety Awareness session Covering
Health and safety at work act 1974
Puwer regulations
Loler regulations.
Safe working loads.
Inspection lifting tackle.
Safe operating practices.
Methods of slinging.

Practical Session.

Agreed standard signal code with crane operator.
Carried out area checks. Attached slings to load.
Move load to correct setting down point.
Set down load in safe position.
Remove slings.
Inspected lifting tackle for defects and stored away correctly.

Maximum of 6 people
