Canine Emergency Aid

Introduction:

This is a one day first aid course designed to give dog handlers the skills necessary to provide first aid to their dog.

This course would be of benefit to:

Security officers
Gamekeepers
Farm Workers
Hunters
Anyone nuts about their dog!

Our senior trainer spent 16 years as a dog handler for the Ministry of Defence and we are currently the only company in the UK who provides regular first aid courses for dog handlers. No one else in the UK can provide realistic CPR training on a dog manikin.

Course Content

The scope and aim of first aid
Incident management
First aid kits
Asphyxia and choking
Principles of resuscitation (CPR)
Wounds, blood loss and shock
Fractures and injuries to muscles and joints
Poisons

Every delegate will receive comprehensive course material and a certificate of attendance.

Duration:
1 day (at least 7 hours instruction) To suit client requirements
This course is subject to a maximum of twelve delegates.
