Forward Tipping Dumpers

Introduction

This course is designed for participants to understand the engineering principles and safe operational practice of Dumpers.

Aims

To enable the participants to acquire the skills and knowledge required to operate forward tipping dumpers, safely and efficiently and to take theoretical and practical tests. The practical and theoretical test will be conducted to the NPORS standard, which fully complies with Health and Safety Regulations for operating on construction sites.

Operators who are required to operate on construction sites must hold a site safety awareness certificate or attend a further course (1 day).

• Driving laden & unladen on various terrain and parking

Course Duration

• Novice Course
  3 Day course for a maximum of 8 trainees. This will include a site safety awareness.
• Experienced
  1 Day course for a Max of 4 operators. A further day will be required if the operators do not hold a site safety awareness certificate.
