Introduction

This training programme has been designed to enable staff to effectively train other in work activities, especially on a one to one basis.

Aims and Objectives

On successful completion the participant will be able to:-

• Identify the training needs of staff
• Prepare for training , by breaking down activities into logical stages and key points
• Carry out effective instruction with individuals and groups using training methods covered
• Develop the confidence and the ability to deal with a range of training situations

• The Learning process- How and why people learn
• Barriers to learning
• Individual learning styles
• Types of communication
• Questioning techniques
• Carrying out task analysis
• Preparation and delivery of a one to one demonstration

Day 1
