Introduction

This Course is designed for participants to understand the engineering principles and Safe Operational Practice of Lorry Loaders.

Aims

To Enable the Participants to acquire the skills and knowledge required to operate Lorry Loaders, Safely and efficiently and to take theoretical and practical tests. The Practical and Theoretical test will be conducted to the NPORS standard, which fully complies with health & safety regulations.

Operators Safety Code
Practical Session
Introduction to Controls
Operator daily Checks
Unfold and Fold the Loader
Sling and Lift a Simple Load
Fit an attachment, test its operation and remove it
Lift a load using an attachment
Lift a load and place it in position using signals only
Place a load on the vehicle and secure it ready for the road
Testing Theoretical & Practical

Course Duration

Novice Course.
2 Day Course for a Maximum of 3 trainees.
Experienced.
1 Day Course for a Maximum of 3 Trainees.
