Lorry Loaders Course

This course is aimed at persons responsible for using lorry loaders in the workplace. Delegates on this course will acquire knowledge of the engineering principles and safe operational practice of a lorry loader as well as the skills to operate in a safe and effective manner. This means that you can rest assured that they are fully compliant with the relevant health and safety regulations.

• Operator Daily Checks
• Unfold and Fold the Loader
• Sling and Lift a Simple Load
• Fit an Attachment, Test Its Operation, and Remove It
• Lift a Load Using an Attachment
• Lift a Load Using Signals Only
• Secure a Load on the Vehicle
• Theory and Practical Tests

Course Duration

When running for novices, this course lasts for two days and hosts up to three delegates. The refresher course caters for up to three existing operators and runs for one day.

Please note that, for all refresher or reregistration courses, proof of prior training must be provided.
